Kelly Rowland’s long-awaited album is all set for release (today)! Here I Am is the R&B artist’s third solo venture. It boasts of tracks ranging from R&B to dance music, rendered in Kelly’s trademark sensuous vocals.
“Motivation” (feat. Lil Wayne) is the first single off the album and it stormed R&B/hip hop charts worldwide. The tracks “I’m Dat Chick”, “Commander”, “Turn it up” and “Feeling me right now” show a lot of hit-potential. All in all, Kelly Rowland seems to have landed an all-round winner this time!
Although Rowland went solo over 8 years ago, she was constantly overshadowed by her ex-band mate of Destiny’s Child fame, Beyonce. With Here I Am, Kelly gears up to claim her rightful place in the music world, among divas like Rihanna and Katy Perry.
