The Caped Crusader is out of the big screen, and cruising the world with “Batman Live: World Arena Tour”!
The action-packed theatrical extravaganza tells the story of how Batman and Robin joined forces to battle against Super-villains: The Joker, The Riddler, The Penguin, The Catwoman, Two-face and Harley Quinn to save the Gotham City.
The long-awaited show premiered in Manchester Evening News Arena on July 19, and will be staged 87 times in UK and Ireland, before moving on to Europe and North America. Depending on the response of the viewers, the Batman World Tour may continue till 2015.
Recently the Bat Mobile made news when it unexpectedly crashed into the sets during a rehearsal. However, luckily for the fans (and for the Super hero!), a second car was available.
The Batman live tour kicked off in good time as Nolan’s Batman franchise will release its final film: The Dark Knight Rises in 2012! So who says the Gotham City hero will RIP when he’s actually busy fighting crime elsewhere?
